Hot Tub and Spa Chlorine Granules Instructions for Use:

To ensure proper hot tub and spa operation, maintain the following water conditions by using an appropriate test kit: - pH levels of 7.2-7.8 - Total alkalinity of 60-100 ppm - Calcium hardness of at least 200 ppm

Frequently test the water and adjust as necessary to maintain these conditions. Do not let the cyanuric acid level exceed 150 ppm. It is recommended to drain spas and hot tubs every 30-90 days, especially with heavy use. Check with the manufacturer to ensure the compatibility of chlorine sanitizers with their equipment. Some oils, lotions, fragrances, and cleaners may cause foaming or cloudy water and could reduce the effectiveness of chlorine sanitizers.

Start-Up (After Being Filled): 1. Turn on the circulation system and ensure it is working properly. 2. Add 6 teaspoons of this product for every 500 gallons of water. Check the free available chlorine (FAC) and, if it is below 4-5 ppm, repeat the process as needed.

Note: Re-entry into treated spas is not allowed if the chlorine levels are above 3 ppm.
